DMCA Policy

Welcome to OnlineFreeConverters (the “Website”), operated by Sanjay Kumar Verma, founder of CodePress Academy. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established the following policy for responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any material available on or through the Website infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent. The notice must contain the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail so that we can locate it on the Website (e.g., the URL of the specific page or tool).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

What Happens After We Receive a Proper Notice?

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the user who posted the material (if any) of the removal and provide them with a copy of the notice.
  • Take reasonable steps to forward the notice to the user.

Counter‑Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter‑notification. The counter‑notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where your address is located) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter‑notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If we do not receive notice within 10‑14 business days that the complainant has filed a court action, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. This applies to users who have been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices.
